Network of Homebased Workers
in South Asia

A Joint Conference-Workshop "Building Visibility and Voice through Responsive Homebased Workers' Organizations in Asia: Focus on ILO Convention 177 on Home Work" jointly held by Homenet Southeast Asia (Homenet SEA) and Homenet South Asia (HNSA) supported by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), was organized in Manila, Philippines in August, 2010. The main focus of this event was to facilitate interactions and sharing of experience between the South Asian and South East Asian regions countries regarding: 

1)
ILO C 177 campaign and its ratification. How to plan to take the process forward.
2)
Lessons in advocating for National Policies in the 2 regions.
3)
Review the results of Membership-based organizing initiatives.
